Bonjour, lecteurs.
Je n’avais pas écrit ici depuis plusieurs jours, plus d'une semaine en fait. Sans compter, évidemment, les envois automatisés à minuit tous les jours.
Je n'avais plus la motivation de vous parler.
Je ne sais pas trop pourquoi.
Je me suis donc inscrite à un séminaire de deux jours (payé par vos taxes) intitulé: L’écriture sur le web.
Je suis hyper motivée et j'ai quelques petits trucs croustillants pour vous.
Me voilà maintenant bien présente et prête à vous informer.
J'y ai appris que vous, internautes, n’aimez pas perdre votre temps et que vous voulez tout de suite trouver l’information que vous êtes venus chercher.
Ça m'avance à quoi ça si je ne sais pas ce que vous cherchez?

Blogging, cooking, and gardening all fight losing battles against time. Except the skill itself, they have trouble creating artifacts of lasting value. I think this is what is discouraging you.
Because the structure of media/the blogosphere constantly presses you to get the next 'new' thing first, each piece is obviated/consumed by the next and you create little of truly lasting value.
It's the problem of a style ofwriting whose subject is valued by virtue of its newness versus other (de facto) more lasting qualities like talent or acclaim.
I too would become discouraged writing about something transitory like music society, as opposed to writing about something lasting like the music itself (by this I mean the songs and the sounds).
I think you might try writing more about music and songwriting, and less about (music) people, (music) society, and (music) tastes because these are constantly in flux and therefore provide an unstable foundation to write on.
I know I would find more satisfaction in creating something of lasting, versus transitory, value.
Who reads blog posts from a year ago except to see what bands don't matter/exist anymore? Right?
